WAEC Application Programmers (3 Positions) Jobs Vacancies in Ghana

The
West African Examinations Council, a sub-regional organization responsible for
the conduct of various examinations in the English speaking West African
Countries, invites applications from suitably qualified Ghanaians to fill
vacant positions in its Ghana National offices.

Specific
Duties and Responsibilities:
As
an Application Programmer, you will be responsible for performing the following
duties among other things:
•  
Designing and developing innovative and practical applications/software
•   Software testing, installing, evaluating and maintaining
applications/software
•   Writing documentation and operating manuals
•   Assisting in application development projects
•   Providing support to the senior programmers
•   Providing training and support to the application users
Qualification
Required & Experience
•  
Must have a Bachelor of Science degree (at least second class Honours) in
computer Science from a recognised University.
Experience:
Applicants
must have must at least 3 years post-qualification experience in addition to
the following
•  
Microsoft Office applications development and SQL Server
•   Programming with Visual Basic
•   Networking
•   Web Design
•   Knowledge in COBL programming will be an added advantage
