Community Foodies is a South Australian nutrition
program that aims to build the capacity of communities to make healthier food
choices by training and supporting volunteer community members (‘Foodies’) to
act as agents for change.

The SA Community Foodies Statewide Leader will
provide strong leadership in the delivery of a high quality Community Foodies
programme throughout South Australia.

The Role:
Your key responsibilities will include but are
not limited to:

- directing and supporting program coordinators;
- developing and distributing program
implementation resources, including Foodie training and professional development;
- developing and coordinating program frameworks
for communication, quality and professional development; - providing expert knowledge of nutrition and
dietetics to the program; - developing stakeholders to enhance program
reach and quality; and - evaluating and reporting on program outcomes.
The Person:
- Eligible for membership with DAA
- Experience working in Community Nutrition or
Public Health Nutrition - Experience in delivering programs in community
settings - Experience in community education
- Experience in leading and managing
multidisciplinary teams including volunteers - Experience in managing complex stakeholder
relationships - Ability to engage with a wide range of
stakeholders including CALD and Aboriginal groups - Excellent written and verbal communication
skills - High level skills using information technology
- Grant application writing experience.
