Corporate Services at Perpetual partners closely with each business to support

It is an exciting time to join Perpetual and we are currently seeking a Senior
Compliance Manager to actively manage Perpetual’s approach to regulatory reform
to enable Perpetual to respond to and implement regulatory change.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and assess legal developments and regulatory change and manage
Perpetual’s response to regulatory change.
• Participate in relevant industry working groups and prepare submissions to
government on regulatory change.
• Provide concise, practical and sound analysis and advice on regulatory change
and Perpetual’s compliance framework.
• Develop and update Perpetual’s compliance framework and actively participate
in ongoing improvements.
• Develop and maintain relationships with GMs and GEs, regulators, industry
bodies and external auditors.
• Provide, organise or participate in training on regulatory change and
compliance obligations.
• Manage a team of compliance professionals responsible for maintaining
Perpetual’s compliance framework (including AFS and RSE licences, Group
Policies, complaints and breach reporting processes, regulatory audit program
and compliance validation and certification processes).
As the successful candidate you will require a Bachelor of Laws with sound
academic results and hold a current NSW practising certificate. You will need
extensive, relevant experience in the financial services industry and have
strong, demonstrable people management skills with a track record of
effectively managing a successful team of compliance professionals.
