Donor/Membership Support Assistant

Reporting to the BTC Accountant and working closely with the Donor
Stewardship Coordinator and the Membership Processing Administrator,
the Donor/Membership Support Assistant will provide assistance to both
the Membership and Donor programs t

hrough use of our extensive
database.

Job Duties:
• Entering and updating information in the BTC onsite database (Sage FR100)
• Assisting with ecommerce processing
• Answering phones and directing calls as needed
• Responding to inquiries from the public, members, volunteers and donors
• Opening and distributing mail

Qualifications:
• Must be currently enrolled in post-secondary education
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software
• Experience using databases would be an asset

Abilities:

The successful candidate will be a positive, self-motivated person who
understands how to provide excellent customer service and will
demonstrate:
• Ability to work independently and be an effective self motivator
• Pleasant telephone manner and strong inter-personal skills
• Strong computer literacy – Windows, Microsoft Word and Excel
• Must be able to get to the BTC Head office located within the RBG
Arboretum on Old Guelph Road, no public transit to the Head Office is
available.

About the Bruce Trail Conservancy

The Bruce Trail, Canada’s oldest and longest footpath, provides the
only continuous public access to the magnificent Niagara Escarpment, a
UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve. It is one of only fifteen such
reserves in all of Canada.

The Bruce Trail Conservancy is a charitable organization committed to
establishing a conservation corridor containing a public footpath
along the Niagara Escarpment, in order to protect its natural
ecosystems and to promote environmentally responsible public access to
this UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve.

This is a Canada Summer Job position, you must be returning to school
in the fall to qualify for this position. The position will start June
1st for 13 weeks, 24 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 9:30am-4pm at
$13/hr.
