Responsibilities:
• Creates usable and attractive user interface solutions for Infotainment & Connectivity products.
• Plan, budget, monitor and report on quality of the user interface through all stages of the design process (Product brief, Concept, Development, Prototype, Implementation).
• Work with Product Styling Designers to ensure product design fulfils client requirements.
• Define and set up the design project requirements.
• Adopt and deploy D&UI global methodology (processes & tools) to serve Asian market needs.
• Prepare and maintain documentation (specification, archiving…).
• Maintain professional knowledge to state of the art.
• Visualize the interactive design concepts.
Requirements:
• Being able to work with various functions and being able to sell your design is a must.
• Diagramming tools for flow-charting, e.g. Visio.
• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
• Adobe Creative Suite of Products including but not limited to (Photoshop, Flash, Illustrator).
• Exhibit a design flair for creating user-friendly user interfaces for driving environments.
• Execute the intended design with engineering functions through tight deadlines to meet client requirements.
• Possess an analytical capability to create sensible information architectures for complex navigation systems.
