Job description: Senior Java Developer Contract Job in Belfast
3 months+, £300-£350.00 per day
In partnership with its client in Belfast, Cpl N.I. Ltd. is currently seeking a highly talented Senior Java Developer for a 3+ month contract job opportunity based in Belfast.

Job Role:
This is a challenging and exciting opportunity to work within the centre of excellence in Belfast.
You will be responsible for the development of applications that generally provide functionalities such as:
• Trade capture functionality
• Sales/trader matching
• Position management
• Order management
• Risk analysis
• Internal trade distribution to downstream middle and back office systems
• STP feeds from other trade capture systems and electronic markets, both internal and external.
• Regulatory Reporting
You will also be responsible for:
• Development of MO platform
• Liaison with on-site Testers for Regression and UAT testing
• Liaison with global business and development teams, both internal and external
• Review and enhancement of existing methodologies, metrics and procedures
Experience and skill set requirements:
• Significant experience in IT and development with a good understanding of the software lifecycle.
• Ability to work with other developers in different countries and be able to work and meet aggressive deadlines.
• Strong orientated programming experience, solid OO programming (Java), solid UNIX shell scripting experience and test driven development background.
• Experience in relational database and SQL, working in Agile teams and an understanding of server-side environment.
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Highly desirable would be real-time messaging
