In this role will be
required to:
- Be an
advocate for children and families - Work
according to the Code of Ethics of the Early Childhood Australia - Work
according to the National Regulations - Be
aware of government regulations, guidelines pertaining to children’s
services and be competent and prepared to assist the Nominated Supervisor - Have a
commitment to NQS, NQF, Quality Improvement (QIP) and Assessment and
Rating System, the Centre Philosophy of Education and Care and the Early
Years Learning Framework - Have an
actively inclusive approach which is reflected in interactions with
children, families and staff - Keep up
to date with current developments in the Early Childhood profession - Maintain
the ability to use information technology
To begin this new
adventure you must have great energy, involvement, and competence. Ideally, you
will demonstrate your team player skills, a bright and bubbly personality and
you will present with a strong work ethic
The successful
candidate must hold either a Diploma, Cert III in Children’s Services or a
Degree in Early Childhood (Birth to Five Years) and will present with a genuine
passion and lengthy experience working with children. A working with children’s
check is essential for this position, as is, a current Asthma and Anaphylaxis
Certificate and current First Aid.
