- Actively
participate in the collection and analysis of information used to
determine vulnerability, and create transparent targeting criteria. - Organize
beneficiary registration and distributions in collaboration with
communities - Organize
and conduct trainings for all programmer beneficiaries. - Lead
the registration and verification of beneficiaries by collecting
appropriate data. - Act
as a liaison between communities and the Save the Children office;
maintain good relationships with beneficiaries and local authorities
(MIDMAR)/stakeholders; and report any identified issues to the livelihood
project Officer. - Conduct
trainings and sensitization sessions for beneficiaries and other
stakeholders - Follow
up volunteers work.

QUALIFICATIONS
AND EXPERIENCE:

Essential
- Degree
in Economics, agriculture or rural development, Development studies or
similar field. - Minimum
1 years of experience in livelihood programs, preferably working in small
enterprise, income generation activities and cash transfer programming. - Demonstrated
experience of participating in assessment activities, managing, monitoring
and evaluating livelihood programmers for international NGOs. - Experience
in field work and community mobilization, particularly of youth and women. - Experience
in conducting training and sensitization sessions for communities and
beneficiaries - Excellent
communication and influencing skills. - Politically
and culturally sensitive with qualities of patience, tact and diplomacy - The
capacity and willingness to be extremely flexible and accommodating in
difficult and sometimes insecure working circumstances. - Commitment
to the aims and principles of SC. In particular, a good understanding of
the SC mandate and child focus and an ability to ensure this
continues to underpin our support - Fluency
in written and spoken local language, French and English. - Computer
skills (especially Excel). - Strength
