Main purpose of the
job: To efficiently manage the procurement process in line with established
procedures whilst ensuring economy, efficiency, transparency, fairness,
accountability/ethical standards and promoting competition.
Main duties and
Responsibilities
• Provision of
logistic support to Tender Committee in collecting and dispatching the
procurement documents,
• Provision of logistic and secretarial support to the Tender Committee,
organizing the meetings;
• Ensure efficient and effective record keeping of all procurement processes
• Maintaining physical and electronic documents ,shared files, request for
clarifications according to established filing procedures and relevant rules;
• Ensure procurement files are available for procurement audits at any
particular time
• Drafting checklists for all procurement items
• Drafting the Record of the Tender Committee;
• Provision of secretarial support to the Tender Committee
• Support in monitoring and maintaining reports on the implementation of the
annual procurement plan;
• Assist in the development and implementation of procurement
policies/procedures;
• Undertake any other tasks as assigned by the Ex-ante Control Officer
Qualifications:
Degree in Economics, Law, Procurement, Business or Public Administration or
Equivalent qualifications.
Experience: Three
(3) year’s experience in Public or International Procurement
Other Skills
Requirements: Fluent in English, Knowledge of Portuguese or French will be an
added advantage
Remuneration: US$ 24
131 per annum
Contract Duration:
Two ( 2 ) years
