Around
the globe, RTI’s work is helping foster stronger food systems, reduce
malnutrition in all its forms, build resilience and engage the next
generation of food security leaders. RTI is currently partnering on nearly 30
projects in East Africa, including activities focused on private
sector-driven agricultural growth in Rwanda and youth engagement in Kenya. To
build on these efforts, RTI is currently seeking professionals for an
anticipated USAID-funded NgurizaNshore activity in Rwanda, focusing on the


facilitation of a dynamic off-farm sector. Candidates should be fluent in
English; Kinyarwanda and French preferred.

Collaboration,
Learning, and Adapting Manager:
Responsible for project monitoring
and evaluation (M&E), documentation of lessons and successes, and
coordination across and outside of the project. Designs the M&E project
system and MEL plan, and lead the gathering and organization of activity and
program outputs, outcomes, and impact data. Serves as quality control to
ensure data quality, accuracy, consistency, completeness, and compliance with
USAID’s standards. Sets and manages the project’s learning agenda, including
design of learning strategies.  Organizes learning platforms and
activities to facilitate knowledge sharing, in keeping with the CLA
approaches. Documents and makes available analytic results, decisions made
and follow up from learning engagements, and draw on lessons learn to adapt
future learning events and approaches.
Qualifications:
  • Master’s
    degree in public administration, economics, business, agricultural or
    rural development a
  • At
    least 9 years of progressively responsible experience in M&E,
    knowledge management and dissemination on USAID or other donor-funded
    projects.
  • Experience
    directly managing staff required.
