We are a winery group based in the Barossa Valley and are experiencing strong
growth in both domestic & international markets
We are currently looking for an Accountant to assist with the day to day work,
management reports, projects etc.
Initially Part Time
The successful candidate will have: –
• A strong work ethic
• Formal qualifications (or at least part qualified) required (CA/CIMA)
• Accounting experience in a manufacturing industry or similar required. – BAS
returns, Stock Valuations, Cash Flow, Management Reports, P & L etc., GL
Reconciliations
• Experience with Multiple Entities, Loan Accounts, Inter-Company
Reconciliations
• Solid MYOB skills required (an understanding of end to end AP, AR, Itemised
Stock, Payroll (including statutory requirements), intermediate excel skills,
word & outlook
• Superior & confident communication skills with debtors & creditors
• Experience dealing with external accountants & banks.
• Good people/HR skills
• An awareness of OH & S
• Wine industry experience an advantage, but not essential
• The ability to solve problems rather than highlight problems
• An absolute “can-do” attitude
• Salary (Full Time Equivalent) $70k
Initially this will be a casual position but there are excellent long term
prospects for the right person. (25+ hours per week (permanent), work/life
balance and a long handover)
