We are a
tiny sales and marketing agency based in Sydney’s CBD, seeking a highly
organised and pro-active assistant sales manager with mid-level experience.

You will
be working closely with our director and you’ll be his assistant sales manager,
his client service person and his eyes and ears in the marketplace. You will
have a lot of autonomy and self-direction day to day, and you won’t be
micro-managed, but you will need to be able to fill you day with smart sales
strategies and report back to him.

We work
with clients in emerging technologies and inno
vation industries, and they
engage us to be their frontline sales team and new business development arm.
This means that you will be managing our clients’ sales projects and working
with our founder to both manage our client relationships, and do the selling
for them as well.

It is
important that you like making outbound phone calls because this is a big part
of the job.

You will
also be required to do a lot of research and identify the right prospects to
sell to, as well as write sales call scripts, organise email follow-ups, log
calls into our CRM as well as manage our freelance sales people.

You’ll
also be helping our director organise his priorities across those accounts, and
finding ways to optimise and streamline the way we run our projects. You’ll
also be responsible for all-round client service and reporting, sales
project management, and looking after our clients.

You must
have a solid track record in a business to business sales and account
management environment.

You must
also be very experienced in using various IT platforms, such as CRM, Microsoft
Excel, and an ability to use the internet do to research and list building.
LinkedIn is a critical skill too.

The role
is for a July start.

Our
working hours are early start / early finish. Our hours of operation are from
8am to 4pm.

You must
have your own ABN, because this is initially a contractor role for the first
few months, and there is also a 3 week trial period.
