Job Description:

Reporting to the ED, the ECPC will help coordinate the day-to-day activities of
the Energy Conservation department. The ECPC is responsible for booking for our
existing residential energy services, including home audits, ENERGY STAR
program and future home inspections (coming in Spring 2016). The ECPC will
supervise energy audits on new home construction and ensure compliance with the
Energy Star for New Homes Program and EnerGuide for New Homes. From time to
time, the ECPC will perform Hot2000 energy models for new home builders in
compliance with the OBC Supplemental Standard SB-12. In addition, the ECPC is
responsible for the coordination and implementation of commercial energy
assessments performed in accordance with OPA standards and municipal energy
audits in accordance with the Green Energy Act:

Duties:
• Handle client inquiries – both phone and email
• Schedule appointments
• Create invoices
• Balance Inventory
• Coordinate contractors in the field (e.g., energy advisors)
• General office admin: filing, organizing, monthly statements
• Make outgoing QA calls
• Email and phone correspondence with applicants, landlords, building owners,
homeowners

Skill Sets Required:
• Knowledge of Energy Conservation in residential and commercial settings
• Computer skills: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Hot2000, RETScreen
• Detail-oriented
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
• Self-motivated and reliable

Hours and Location
• Time: 20 Hours a week
• Wage: $16/hr
• 99 York St (Downtown Kingston)
