farmers, foragers and local entrepreneurs dropping off their delicious and

The organization consists of hardworking, motivated and fun loving people who
are focused on providing a friendly and community oriented market-like
experience to our customers (a.k.a. neighbours). In the role of the Produce
Merchandiser and Sales Clerk, you would be responsible for:
- Delivering
friendly, prompt customer service - Informing
customers about specials and store events - Building
and filling displays - Providing
knowledge of products and produce to customers - Cleaning
and culling produce - Receiving
and putting away orders - Ensuring
produce meets standards of quality and care - Guaranteeing
all products and produce have an accurate price tag - Amongst
other tasks
Qualifications:
- Customer
service experience - Able
to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends - Produce
experience is a strongly desired asset - Ability
to lift ~40lbs, bend, and stand on your feet for several hours - Food
Handlers Certificate is a bonus!
