RAHPC is a
regulatory body responsible for the compliance of the rules, honour and dignity
of allied health professions in Rwanda. It ensures compliance with the
principles of morality, integrity and dedication essential to the practice of
allied health professions and ensures that its members comply with their
professional requirements and the laws and regulations governing the health
profession.
1. Terms
of Reference of the Deputy Registrar
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate
other RAHPC-staff activities - Keep
and maintain the registers of allied health professions - Update
the list of allied health professionals in order to produce the
certificates of registration and practicing licenses - Make
necessary alterations and corrections in the Register in relation to any
entry as may be directed by the council from time to time. - Implement
the decisions of the Bureau and perform any other duty that may be
required by the Bureau of the National Council Board. - Setting
up meetings as recommended by the Bureau of the Council - Carry
out the duties that the Registrar shall assign to him or her from time to
time, - Shall
be deputing the Registrar and as such is responsible for recording all
minutes of the meetings of the Bureau of the Council and shall keep
custody of ail records and documents of the Council.
REQUIRED SKILLS
AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s
degree in one of the Allied Health Professions - At
least two years of working experience in health related services - Office
management experience is required - Administrative
and bookkeeping experience - Microsoft
Office Suite software (Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint) required - Fluency
in Kinyarwanda and good command of both English and French - Ability
to work with people of different level of skills - Ability
to provide a strategic direction to other staff - Problem-solving
and analytical skills required - Familiarity
with Rwandan health care Systems and policies - Familiarity
with Rwandan government protocols and policies desirable - Ability
to work under pressure
2. Terms
of Reference of the Administrative and Finance
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the
day to day support and management of RAHPC activities.
Financial
Management:
- Manage
and track expenses in accordance with RAHPC procedures - Pay
appropriate invoices - Manage
and disburse petty cash funds - Handle
RAHPC’s banking transactions - Submit
monthly financial and expense reports to Bureau of the Council - Ensure
compliance with the Council policies and procedures
Administration:
- Prepare
administrative correspondences on behalf of the Bureau of the Council - Handle
any other administrative activities on behalf of the Bureau of the Council - Perform
any other duty that may be required by the Bureau of the National Council
Board.
REQUIRED SKILLS
AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s
degree in Business Administration or related field - At
least three years of working experience in finance/accounting related
activities - Office
management/administration experience - Administrative
and bookkeeping experience - Knowledge
of Microsoft Office Suite software(Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint) - Fluency
in Kinyarwanda and strong command of both English and French (oral and
written) - Excellent
analytical, interpersonal, communication technical writing and
organizational skills. - Ability
to work with people of different skill levels - Familiarity
with Rwandan health care Systems and policies is added advantage - Ability
to work under pressure
