parasites such as the malaria parasite, hookworm, threadworm and scabies cause
disease and how they become resistant to drugs used to treat them. The g
roup is
undertaking a program of human clinical trials testing malaria drugs and
vaccines.
In this role, you will:
* develop, implement and monitor quality system policies and procedures
* develop a schedule and lead regular audits
* coordinate activities for external audits e.g. TGA audits
* undertake risk analysis and monitor the effectiveness of all risk control
measures, and
* develop and review SOPs in line with Institute requirements and ICH GCP.
To be successful in the role, you will have: relevant tertiary qualifications
in health or science or equivalent experience; substantial practical experience
in establishment and application of quality systems; thorough understanding of
GCP princples and TGA; high level of organisation and project management
skills; and excellent verbal and written communication skills. It would be
desirable to have experience in clinical studies or in a research environment.

Salary:

This role can be full-time or part-time and
offers a competitive base salary plus highly attractive salary packaging and superannuation options. This is a fixed term position for three years. |
