training and support. Every day our non-profit partners can count on us to be
on the streets, in neighborhoods or in malls around the world signing up highly
valued monthly donors.
Job Description
We are hiring for entry-level fundraising positions. Successful candidates are
energetic, enthusiastic, outgoing, and dedicated individuals, willing to work
as part of a team canvassing for monthly donations, for various world-renowned
charities. You will be responsible for recruiting new monthly donors through
face-to-face interactions on behalf of these charitable organizations.
The Vancouver team is currently looking for its next generation of leaders and
managers. We are currently looking for people we can develop into Supervisors,
Senior Supervisors and Managers. With Public Outreach promotion is not based on
how long you’ve been with us, but on work ethic, skills and attitude.
Pay starts $14/hour (no commission)
Specific Duties
• Remain knowledgeable on specific charity information (paid training is
provided)
• Engage in face-to-face conversations with the public about charity-specific
actions
• Recruit and sign up monthly donors on the spot
Qualifications
• Positive attitude and willingness to perform job
• Strong communication skills
• Interest in humanitarian and environmental issues
• Self-motivated
• Team player
• High school diploma
• Ability to work 3 to 5 full shifts per week (full- or part-time)
• Successful applicants must undergo a criminal background check
