e accurate recording of
financial transactions in the financial management system (Serenic) of Partners
In Health (PIH). S/he will ensure sound financial practices and control. The
Principle Accountant is responsible for producing accurate and timely financial
reports that enable management take informed decisions.

• Ensure
  all financial transactions in Serenic are accurately recorded to enable
  accurate and timely financial reports
• Conduct
  Bank reconciliations.
• Ensure
  payroll information is correctly recorded in Serenic.
• Work
  with CFO to monitor cash flows.
• Ensure
  full recovery of assets.
• Maintain
  regular contacts with district accountants and ensure financial
  transactions at sites recorded accurately and timely.
• Review
  transactions posted in field connect upon satisfaction post them in the
  financial management system (Serenic).
• Resolve
  accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
• Facilitate
  the annual auditing process for PIH.
• Ensure
  financial policies and procedures are followed.
• Supervise
  payment of all PIH expenses
• Any
  other task required of you by the Chief Finance Officer

• Minimum
  of University degree in Accounting or Finance
• Strong
  computer skills especially in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft word and
  experience in using financial management software’s.
• Minimum
  of five (5) years’ experience in the area of finance or accounting,
  including a minimum of two years of supervisory experience in a Non­governmental
  organization
• Strong
  interpersonal skills.
• Strong
  Problem Solving & Analytical Skills.
• Able
  to work under pressure with minimum supervision.
