The Job
• The Research and Strategy Officer is part of a small project team whose function is to carry out a comprehensive assessment of all housing strategies within Shetland and to develop a Housing Strategy in line with guidelines from the Scottish Executive.
• The Research and Strategy Officer will have a role to play in liaising with various agencies and individuals to ensure that all relevant information is provided to enable a comprehensive assessment of housing strategy to be undertaken.
• The Research and Strategy Officer will assist the Project Leader in consulting with various agencies and service users at key stages in the development of the Housing Strategy.

• We will be seeking a Basic Disclosure check for the successful applicant.
• A Relocation package does not apply to this post.
• We will pay interview expenses from within Shetland.
• Part-time post for 18.5 hours per week.
