Title: Labour Supervisor

Responsibilities:
1. Labour Supervision and Management
• Job training for all new workers
• Monitor and record hours worked
• Supervise and organize the cleaning of greenhouse facilities
• Communicate with contractor to arrange nos. of workers/day
2. Job Efficiency and Quality
Control
• Establish efficiency rates for each task and ensure they are met.
• Maintain high quality standards for all jobs being completed.
3. Assist Growers
• Report to Grower any concerns or issues
• Implement daily task list organized by site managers.
• Problem solving and re-prioritization of jobs if necessary.
4. Health safety and food safety
• Train workers on correct procedures and Food Safety practices.
• Follow up with SOP’s, maintain and update records and checklists.
Skills and Qualifications:
• High School Education required, post-secondary an asset.
• Previous greenhouse experience beneficial, but not required.
• Must be a team player who also takes initiative.
• First Aid OFA Level 1 (training will be provided)
• Punjabi language knowledge is an asset.
