Position: Wasp and Bee Removal Technician (Lower Mainland)

Joe Wasp Nest Removal Services is a Vancouver based company that specializes in
greener wasp and bee removal services in the Lower Mainland. Our focus is on
the live removal and relocation of honeybees and bumblebees and less toxic
approaches to eliminating wasp nests.
This is an exciting position for anyone interested in insects and wildlife. We
are currently offering a part time/full time position from June through
September (likely 3+ days per week). University students studying Sciences or
Environment will be preferred for this position.
Duties include:
• Driving to appointments at locations throughout the Lower Mainland.
• Meeting clients at their residences at the scheduled time.
• Removal of wasps, bees and their nests using our removal system.
• Some relocating of nests.
• No previous experience necessary. Training will be provided.
• Must have a reliable vehicle.
• Must have a cell phone.
• Must have good people skills.
• Must be interested in the natural environment.
• Must be able to confidently handle a 21ft extension ladder in a variety of
situations.
• Must be relatively agile with no fear of heights.
• Must have a respect for bees and wasps (no allergies or phobias).
• Must have the ability to independently problem solve in a variety of
situations.
