JOB ANNOUNCEMENT
World Health Organization in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is seeking to recruit the following
short term staff to support the implementation of the “Evaluation of the
impact and effectiveness of pentavalent rotavirus vaccine in Rwanda”
project.
Data Manager
Data manager will assist the National Coordinator in the management of the
project and will be directly responsible for supporting the management of
scntincisite, surveillance sites and field data. He/She will report to the
National Coordinator.
The Data manager will be responsible for the following activities:
• Support implementation and monitoring of the data management aspects of the
project;
• Designing and developing data collection and analysis tools and guidelines;
• Customizing and troubleshooting data management modules;
• Data cleaning, analysis and reporting;
• Prepare regular updates and reports.
1. Profile required :
Essential:
– A nursing diploma A1 or AO.
– Skills in Microsoft excel, word, EPI info,
Desirable:
– Experience of 1 year in health system
– Evidence of collection on field especially data collection related to health
in general and
on immunization in particular.
2. Experiences:
Essential: At least 2 years of professional experience in medical or
laboratory services.
Desirable: Experience in data management, health facilities supervision.
3. Language: Good knowledge of English or French.
4. Additional Information: This position is subject to local recruitment
conditions.
5. Duration of contract: (5) five months renewable.
6. The payment: The payment will be made according to WHO
procedures.
