Orange invites candidates who wish to be part of a dynamic workforce to
apply for the above position.
Reporting to the Chief Finance Officer, the successful candidate will be
responsible for producing accounts and processes, in order to provide quality
accounts in compliance with deadlines and national and international accounting
policies (from recording events to producing corporate, fiscal and IFRS
accounts)
The main duties include but are not limited to:
- Coordinate and supervise accounting activities
of the company - Ensure the management of internal controls
related to accounting functions - Ensure completeness of reporting of accounting
information - Lead and coordinate a financial team and
guarantee staff ‘s development - Perform controls and ensure consistency,
reliability & quality of information booked - Check and validate accounting entries (detect
and correct errors) - Publish financial statements of world class
quality according to IFRS gap, and France Telecom group guidelines - Ensure the quality of the analysis of accounts
and review reconciliations - Plan and organise month end closing procedures
for the accounting and the whole finance department ; including group
reporting of accounts - Ensure compliance with statutory requirements
[all taxes and regulatory charges] and with internal control processes - Prepare annual financial statements and income
taxes - Manage external audit exercise and
relationship with auditors - Ensure absence of fiscal risk (taxation) – in
collaboration with the tax advisor(external firms) - Contribute to the recruitment of staff for
vacant positions and continuous assessment of any staff requirement - Perform on the job training and assess any
staff development needs - Perform cross sub department functions as
delegated by the CFO
Qualifications and experience
- Accounting degree with Post graduate
(ACCA/CIMA) - 8 years in financial roles covering the whole
accounting cycle
Skills
- Very good knowledge in Accounting and Finance
(Local accounting and tax rules – International financial reporting
standards (IFRS’S)) - Computer literate
- Good people management and leadership skills
- Rigorous
- Ability to deliver and work under pressure
