Will also be responsible for the execution of best operating practices within
the Forensics field as you carry out forensics investigations in the business,
Opportunities will exist to participate in multi-disciplinary project teams as
well as to embed Forensics within the business with the intention to drive the
shift towards a more proactive forensics function
This role will report administratively to the Corporate Governance Manager and
functionally to the Africa Operations Manager
Prioritising, planning and execution of forensic work, including the
identification of key findings/recommendations, This includes the complete and
accurate identification of risk and control implemented to avoid a
re-occurrence, Proper maintenance and uploading of evidentiary materials to
support the findings and the contents onto the electronic case/project
management system, Drafting of reports with findings and recommendations,
Tracking and/or following up all recommendations made to business, Manages
clients and stakeholders relationships without supervision, including providing
regular feedback to stakeholders, Creates a climate for optimal performance,
Makes increased contributions by broadening skills and knowledge
Plans, executes investigations/projects without supervision, Maintain accurate
and complete information of forensic work on the electronic case management
system, Establishing and continuously improving a consistent operating framework
for the identification, management, monitoring and reporting of fraud risks and
issues, Promoting fraud awareness within business units, Accountable for
service delivery through own efforts, Making increased contributions by
broadening individual skills, Collaborating effectively with others to achieve
personal results, Accepting and living the company values
3 yr qualification or equivalent in Audit, Forensic related field or Risk
Management is essential, 3 yrs relevant work experience is essential, Has a
detailed knowledge of the financial services industry, criminal law, labour law
and specific technical requirements, Engages on the right level to obtain
business context during investigation, Good interpersonal skills, including
influencing skills, Collaborates effectively with others to achieve personal
and team results, Self-starter, able to show initiative and work with minimal
guidance, Capacity to work under pressure and meet deadlines, Solution-driven,
passionate and energetic, Possess a strong sense of ownership and initiative as
well as a proactive mindset
