exploration, mining operations and mineral trading.

Ngali
Mining Ltd has a plan of fast-tracking mineral exploration surveys all over the
country, by multiplying effort in the various stages of mineral exploration,
from reconnaissance to reserve estimation. To achieve that, Ngali Mining Ltd is
setting up own-operated exploration drilling facilities.

Consultant for the position of Gemstones Consultant for Three months renewable

RESPONSIBILITIES
AND DESCRIPTION

The
gemstones specialist will manage and train its team to the whole value chain of
gemstones, from exploration to trading of stones and finished products such as
jewelries.

The
main activities include:

Gemstones
Exploration
Gemstones
fair valuation
Gemstone
Identification
Responsible
and optimized gemstones mining
Gemstones
processing and grading
Market
research, strategy and trading
Design
and development of terms of reference for the acquisition of specialized
and required tools and equipment;
Developing
jewelry manufacturing;
All
above component include a structured training to relevant techniques and
theories.
The
candidate will be based in Rwanda and may travel inside the country or
abroad as required

REQUIRED
QUALIFICATIONS AND KNOWLEDGE

Demonstrated
extensive knowledge of the whole gemstones value chain and industry (at
least 10 years) is key for this position.
Demonstrated
knowledge of the gemstones market (at least 10 years)
Knowledge
of various gemology equipment
Communication
and training skills
A
bachelor’s degree in a relevant field would be a plus
