Scholarships (Non-EU Students only)
Manchester Met is
making a number of Vice-Chancellor scholarships available, each to the value of
£5,000. These scholarships are open to international students who enrol on a
full-time undergraduate or postgraduate taught programme.
You can apply for an
award if you:
- are an
international student (classified as ‘overseas’ for tuition fee purposes) - and
have been offered a place on a taught course starting in September 2016 or
January 2017 - and are
not currently registered on a course at Manchester Met
If you meet the
above criteria, you can download the applicationform. Please note, this scholarship cannot be combined with any other
financial support from Manchester Met.
For courses starting
in September 2016, the deadline for receipt of applications is 31st May 2016.
For courses starting in January 2017, the deadline for receipt of applications
is 31st October 2016. Students will be notified if their application has been
successful in June 2016 or November 2016 for courses starting in September and
January, respectively.

Manchester Met
provides a range of university-wide undergraduate and postgraduate funding
which international students are able to apply for, including alumni discounts
and faculty-specific discounts.

Many of our
international students are eligible for external funding. The British
Council’s EducationUK website provides details of available financial support, but you
can also check with your local British Council office for up to date
information.
