Summary:
The Marketing
Assistant is responsible to help execute the day-to-day functions that support
Cabela’s Canada’s programs and associated marketing campaigns. They
will also serve as the liaison between merchandising and marketing in order to
best coordinate and execute merchandise and vendor promotions. Responsible
for partnering with analytical resources to understand, analyze and calculate
Return on Investment of marketing programs. Appropriately shares information to
develop new or modified future events in response to ROI and analytics.
Responsibilities:
· Assist the
marketing team to execute various advertising initiatives and promotions by
coordinating efforts with the merchandising and retail teams.
· Communicate
promotional calendar to internal teams by creating the monthly marketing
bulletin.
· Coordinate
and execute all vendor sponsored promotions and events.
· Monthly
expense tracking.
· Compile
weekly and monthly marketing reports.
· Other duties
as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
· Minimum of
2-4 years of experience and a diploma/degree in graphic design or related
field.
· Advanced
knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products including Excel, Word,
Outlook and PowerPoint.
· Entry level
knowledge of InDesign considered an asset.
· Certificate
or degree in marketing, communications or a related field, or equivalent
experience.
· Strong
communication and presentation skills.
· Team player
with a positive attitude.
