The company
This highly
regarded and rapidly growing international miningcontractor is seeking
experienced and dedicated open cut Maintenance Supervisors for one of its
current projects. Rarely do they enter the market to employ externally but the
business in now in urgent need of experienced Supervisors. They are renowned
for investing heavily in the
ir staff both financially and culturally, you will
not be disappointed.
The role
Seeking
Maintenance Supervisors who have previous experience across all types of
machinery, from CAT trucks, graders and dozers to Komatsu diggers. You will
enjoy taking full ownership of the Maintenance team and managing a medium sized
team of tradesmen. Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent your duties will
include but not limited to; liaising with clients, maintaining efficiency,
coordinating your crews, utilising management systems as well as building and
improving the existing systems and coordinating work in a timely and efficient
manner. You will also enjoy providing technical assistance and from time to
time going back to doing what you love doing, getting your hands dirty.
You will:
- Have 5+
years experience in a supervisory or managerial position - Be 5-10
years post trade - Experience
with a diverse range of open cut machinery - Have
experience managing medium sized crews or teams - Be
trade qualified - Be
highly organised - Be very
company minded - Safety
at the forefront of your mind
