production, maintenance and operations. The clients are unique amongst
their brands & services, with cutting edge technology, equipment upgrades and
project commissioning of new plants currently being implemented into the
productio
n lines and manufacturing facilities. With this in mind, they are
seeking for the best of the best trade qualified fitters to be part of their
family across various shifts and professionals that have high ambitions to grow
within.
The Role
Reporting directly
to the Maintenance manager of your shift, you will be required to:
- Attend
to mechanical problems across the production and packaging floors - Build,
fix, commission and upgrade high speed conveyors, grinders, fillers,
palletisers, de-palletisers, Robotics, pneumatic systems, bearing
systems and hydraulic systems. - Manage,
maintain, check and test production machinery before actual production run - Design,
weld and mount relevant brackets or mechanical structures that will
accommodate various production runs and increases productivity or reduces
breakdowns. - Implement
preventative maintenance schedules and service breakdowns with
developments for continuous improvements - Respond
to various roles across the manufacturing plant or within your allocated
section. - Report
daily maintenance and prepare for changeovers or shift handovers. - Be
proficient at using either SAP, MEX, Maximo or mainpac. - Be
available and flexible for some weekend work and overtime.
The
Candidate
The ideal candidate
will be break and fix, handson and mechanically minded person with a minimum of
5 years experiences beyond your trade ticket and have good strong exposure to
an FMCG (meat manufacturing an advantage. Good strong exposure to high speed
automated equipment. Previous experiences using Maintenance systems including
MEX/ Maximo, mainpac and/or SAP will be highly regarded. If you’re a person
that can keep production running and improve processes whilst developing skills
across cutting edge technology and can work unsupervised and within a team,
than this opportunity could be for you.

you must have a passion and desire to grow within the business by being
innovative, showing initiatives and ideally willing to take on management /
supervisory responsibilities in the future.
