Preschool and Kindergarten program in a rich Montessori environment that
fosters a love of learning and a sense of community responsibility. This year
we celebrate our 40th Anniversary and are the longest established Montessori preschool
in NSW. We are situated in the leafy surrounds of West Lindfield with free
parking and shops opposite.
We
are seeking a full-time Early Childhood Teacher for our beautiful single class
Preschool who is passionate and dedicated to high quality education. The
successful candidate will have a 4 year Bachelor of Early Childhood Education
Degree . The position is full time 38 hours per week on a permanent basis
between the hours of 8:00am-3:00pm with paid school holiday leave. Start
date by Term 3 to be negotiated.

Accredited to teach Early Stage 1 (Kindergarten) as required by the Board of
Studies.

Interest in
the Montessori Education and its underlying philosophy.
Association Montessori Internationale 3-6yrs Accredited preferred or
willingness to undertake AMI 3-6 diploma .

Knowledge
of Board of Studies Early Stage 1 requirements
Experience planning and implementing a Kindergarten curriculum
Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma
Current Working with Children Check
Ability to demonstrate a high level of understanding of the Early Years
Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standards (NQS).
Leadership skills in education and demonstrated ability to lead a team of
classroom assistants
Excellent Verbal and Written Communication
Highly Motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
of Board of Studies Early Stage 1 requirements

position reports to our Centre Manager and the Lindfield Montessori Parent-run
Management Committee. A salary commensurate with your qualifications and
experience will be offered.
