Pathology is a leading provider of pathology and medical diagnostic services to
doctors, specialists and hospitals throughout New South Wales (NSW) and the
Australian Capital Territory (ACT). We also provide medical diagnostic services
to commercial and governme
nt organisations across Australia and
internationally.
Laverty Pathology is
currently seeking enthusiastic and motivated individual to fill a casual
courier position for our busy Sydney Metro courier team.
Our couriers make a
significant contribution to Laverty Pathology and act as ambassadors of the
business, providing our quality service directly to our clients.
Reporting to
the Courier Manager, your key responsibilities will be:
- You
will be required to drive throughout the Sydney metropolitan and
surrounding areas to pick up specimens from our clients and deliver them
to our laboratories, in a safe, efficient and timely manner. - To
communicate effectively with Collections team, referring Doctors, Patients
and other Stakeholders - Attending
to the care, storage and processing of pathology specimens - Compliance
and adherence with Laverty Pathology policies and procedures, and
Workplace Health and Safety procedures;
To be
considered for this role you must possess:
- A
current NSW Driver’s Licence, and have a good driving record (a copy of
which, will need to be provided) - Good
knowledge of, and confidence to drive in, the metropolitan and surrounding
areas of Sydney - Sound
technical skills, including the ability to operate the GPS system - Be able
to work in a flexible roster - Sound
organisational and time management skills - The
ability to work under pressure, to meet goals and as part of a team - Sharing
