Title: Cervical Cancer Prevention Advisor for Maisha Program, Dar Es Salaam
Position Description:
Jhpiego is an international non-profit health organization affiliated with the
johns Hopkins University. For 40 years now, Jhpiego has empowered front-line
health workers by designing and implementing effective, low-cost, hands-on
solutions to strengthen the delivery of health care services for women and
their families. By putting evidence-based health innovations into everyday
practice, Jhpiego works to break down barriers to high-quality health care for
the world’s most vulnerable populations. Jhpiego is implementing a number of
projects in Tanzania and wishes to fill the following positions:
Qualifications and Requirements:
Medical degree in obstetrics/gynecology preferred
At least 3 years experience in providing c1iniGai, services with a focus on
cervical cancer screening
Excellent communication and writing skills. including ability to develop
reports and presentations using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent organizational, management and problem-solving skills, effective
leadership ability flexibility in stressful situations, and the ability to
respond rapidly to the diverse needs of the program,’
English and Kiswahili language skills necessary.
Availability and willingness to travel up to 40% time.
