IPAR-Rwanda Research Associates Jobs Vacancies in Rwanda

IPAR-Rwanda is a local independent think tank that undertakes policy research to inform public policy for decision making. We are inviting suitable qualified applicants to submit an application and CV for inclusion on IPAR data bank. Research associates will be called upon to undertake specific research projects as necessary. The data bank is updated every after a year.

Required Profiles
The Research Associates must fulfill the following requirements;
-Have strong quantitative and/or qualitative research skills.
-Have experience of research design and should have published in respected outlets.
-Be able to work flexibly including work on a number of research projects at the same time.
-Able to manage large data sets and have strong statistical skills with experience of using SPSS and/or able to analyze qualitative data.
-Excellent writing skills are essential and experience of writing for publication would be a strong advantage.
-Excellent speaking, reading and writing of English and Kinyarwanda are essential.
-Able to take part in fieldwork, data analysis and report writing.
-A minimum of a master’s degree in economics, social sciences, policy analysis or other related fields.
-Relevant work experience of at least 5 years is required.
-Qualified women are encouraged
