Credit Administration Manager
The job holder will report to the Head of Credit and
will be responsible for leading a team in handling the daily administration of
loan documentation in full compliance with the internal standards and external
regulatory requirements; approve disbursement of all sanctioned facilities and
ensuring that conditions of sanction have been complied with; en

necessary legal documents for perfecting loan security have been obtained and
verified; overall monitoring and control of the bank’s credit Portfolio to
minimize losses and ensure overall quality of the bank’s assets.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Review loan documents and liaise with internal
and external parties to ensure proper and efficient delivery of credit
administration duties
- Act as the representative in signing deeds and
bank guarantee
- Generate, review and maintain loan
disbursement reports for presentation to credit committees, and provide
monthly reports on the same
- Ensure that there is a robust process for the
safe custody and control of all security documents
- Ensure compliance with the internal policy,
credit approval terms and conditions
- Ensure compliance of all advances with BNR
guidelines to save the bank from financial penalties and/or loss of
license due to non- compliance
- Checking compliance with required documents,
securities, financial conditions before credit disbursement
- Ensuring the reporting on bank’s exposure to
Corporate and Business Banking customers
- Monitoring of corporate and Business Banking
accounts with regard to documents processing, credit reimbursement and
arrears management
- Supervision of credit reports on a daily,
weekly and monthly basis
- Renewal of securities if needed
- Ensuring accurate accounting of disbursed
loans
Required skills and
capabilities
capabilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking,
Business Administration or related field
- 5 years of credit related working experience
preferably 3 years within a bank or any other financial institution
- Strong skills in credit and financial analysis
- Proven skills in conducting credit appraisals
and knowledge of documents necessary for the bank as collateral for
lending
- Proven managerial skills and ability to lead a
motivated team
- Knowledge of MS Office applications for
efficient monitoring and report writing. Knowledge of banking computer
systems will be added advantage
- Should have an in-depth understanding of
Rwanda’s banking industry and related statutory obligations
- Extensive knowledge of the regulator’s
requirements on reporting and ability to interpret the central bank’s
lending policies and align it to the bank’s internal policies &
procures
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a team
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
