Job Title: Foreign Exchange Manager
I&M Bank (T) Ltd, one of the leading banks in Tanzania seeks application
from suitable candidates having the following job profile for the position of
“Foreign Exchange Manager” to be based in Dar es Salaam.
Responsibility:
1. Handling all trade finance & treasury back office related functions for
the bank.
2. Error free and timely processing of all transactions related to trade and
treasury
3. Regular balancing of various internal books relating to trade finance and
treasury back office.
4. Ensure all settlements are done on time, receivables are received on time
and payables are paid on time.
5. Training of departmental staffs on various trade and treasury related
products and processes.
6. Strictly follow Bank of Tanzania & Bank’s policies and procedures, AML
Regulations
7. Identify and implement improvements in his / her areas of work.
Experience:
Minimum 4 to 5 years’ experience and sound knowledge of handling various trade
finance and treasury back office functions in banks.
Qualification: Graduate (minimum)
Skills and Competencies:
Good knowledge of UCP 600, ISBP 681, URC 522, URR 725, ISP 98
Good knowledge of Bank of Tanzania & Government guidelines relating to
Trade Finance, Treasury, AML, Sanctions, SWIFT etc.
Good communication & inter personnel skills, leadership qualities
