Description:
Manage all
activities relating to the Drive Test and Analysis of the 2G/3G Network. To
ensure that all activities (as stated in contract) related to drive test and
analysis are performed in a smooth and professional manner. Reporting to the
Radio Network Planning and Optimization Manager on regular basis and update him
about the project delivery

Duties and
Responsibilities
  • Able to perform drive test both for 2G and 3G
    Network.
  • Able to identify and rectify issues relating
    to zero calls, no audio, handover failure and swap sectors.
  • Post processing of the log files.
  • Able to provide recommendations for poor
    coverage and quality.
  • Strong analytical and report writing skills.
  • Must have Ericsson TEMS experience

  • Working condition: Normal/Hazard
  • Mostly field and office.
  • Physical effort: Good enough to carry out
    field job.
  • Major— Knowledge of 2G/3G network architecture
Skills and
Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree in electrical /
    Telecommunications / Electronic engineering/Computer Science or related
    experience in telecom. 
  • Experience in Drive Test and analysis of 2G/3G
    Network.
  • 1-2 years experience in GSM/CDMA/UMTS/LTE
    Technologies 
  • Good technical knowledge & understanding
    of TEMS.
  • Strong communication & understanding of
    team mates & evaluation capability to increase team effort.
  • Understanding of 2G/3G architecture.
  • Excellent drive test and analysis knowledge.
  • Proficient with Ericsson drive testing tool
    i.e. TEMS.
  • Strong Interpersonal skills and communications
    skill.
  • Ability to work for long hours
  • Very good command in English/French.

Transmission maintenance engineer
Description:
Job Objective
Manage all activities relating to the
monitoring/inspect and field maintenance of the Huawei Ericsson/Huawei
transmission Network, to ensure equipment work fine.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Carryout maintenance of all Ericsson/Huawei
    Transmission network equipment addressing hardware and software issues,
    troubleshooting them as per the agreed SLAs
  • Perform daily network health checks and fix
    accordingly.
  • Review equipment performance indicators and
    alarm. In an event of non compliance, take appropriate actions and
    implement solutions. 
  • Plan that the correct numbers of spare parts
    are always available for field services
  • Undertaking both corrective and preventive
    field maintenance for Ericsson/Huawei transmission network
  • Attends Trouble Tickets on regular basis as
    per SLAs 
  • Works with the Field Supervisor and customer
    support teams in resolving network faults that occur in the network and
    keep them informed of progress when resolving Network faults
  • Works with NOC team to monitor Ericsson/Huawei
    network.

Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree in electrical /

  • Experience in installation, commissioning and
    maintenance of telecommunications equipments
  • 1-2 years experience in Ericsson/Huawei
    transmission equipment Technologies 
  • Installation, testing, acceptance testing,
    commissioning, operation and maintenance of telecom equipment and systems.
  • Strong knowledge of both DC and AC power
  • Good Ericsson/Huawei transmission Product
    knowledge.
  • Strong Interpersonal skills and communications
    skill.
  • Ability to work for longer hours
  • Very good commend in English
  • Good technical knowledge & understanding
    of how to use network configuration, maintenance and monitoring tools.
