agazine that focuses on delivering exciting new ideas and activities in the
sphere of environmental education.
This
job is an eight-week crash course for someone who is eager to learn about all
aspects of running a quarterly magazine: editorial, circulation, marketing and
advertising. One minute they might be working on a marketing promotion, the
next minute they might be editing an article. There is a special focus for this
position on publishing our latest ebooks. You may also be called upon for
help with our Fall issue.

position is funded through Canada Summer Jobs and pays $12.25/hour for 30 hours
per week for a total of eight weeks. You need to be a full time
student intending to return back to school in the Fall of 2016.

and updating articles - Layout
of ebook in both epub and pdf format - Create
promotional materials - Devise
a social media plan/schedule related to the ebook - Editing
and finding new images to illustrate articles
Skills
- Studying
Journalism or media, or in the Faculty of Education - Strong
command of InDesign, Photoshop, WordPress, Facebook, Twitter, Hootsuite
etc. - Knowledge
of Microsoft Office - Strong
editing skills - Ability
to speak French or Spanish is considered a strong asset
