Up to 12 month contract

GippsAero – A
division of Mahindra Aerospace in Australia is looking for a suitably
experienced Aeronautical Engineer to provide engineering and technical support
in a Liason Engineering Production Support role – to Start ASAP!

The ideal
candidate will

• Evaluate
  non conformances arising on Aircraft Structures during the production
  phase and provide appropriate disposition instructions to bring the
  Aircraft Structure or Components back to an airworthy condition. 
• Provide
  technical assistance and drawing interpretation to Manufacturing,
  investigate Engineering drawing errors and provide corrective actions.
• Represent
  Engineering in the Material Review Board (MRB) process.
• Carry
  out Structural analysis for submission to an Authorized Approver as part
  of the Disposition Justification Process.
• Have
  knowledge of both production and design processes including repair
  methods.
• Have a
  detailed knowledge of design and manufacture of machines parts, sheet
  metal parts and welded assemblies.
• Have a
  good working knowledge of Auto-Cad software.

Selection
Criteria – Contract Aeronautical Engineer – Support Engineering

The ideal candidate:

• Tertiary
  (Bachelor Degree equivalent) qualification in Aeronautical Engineering.
• Minimum
  2 years experience in Aerospace Engineering field.
• Knowledge
  of the use and application of aviation technical data such as engineering
  drawings.
• Demonstrable
  knowledge of aircraft certification procedures
• Demonstrated
  ability to work within the confines of project schedules whilst managing
  tasks on a day to day  reactive basis.
• Must
  have excellent oral and written communication skills.
• A
  working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
