WHAT’S

Fujitsu Federal
Government is seeking a Wintel Engineer specialising in Citrix XenDesktop and
Server 2008 for a permanent position based in Canberra. This is an ongoing
position working in a fast paced, high-performing environment within the
Fujitsu BAU team.

Key responsibilities
include but are not limited to:

• Providing
  technical support for Citrix platforms.
• Performing
  analysis, system enhancements and administration tasks.
• Consulting
  to provide direction on a variety of operational, procedural, and systems
  interface issues.
• Providing
  statistical reporting and analysis for KPI’s.
• Wintel
  server management.
• Citrix
  Xenapp/ Xendesktop administration.
• Security
  configuration and coordination.
• Providing
  skilled technical assistance in engineering, planning, certification of
  technical standards and interfaces for existing infrastructures.

WHAT
DO WE WANT FROM YOU?

To be successful in
this role, you will be able to demonstrate the following competencies:

• Demonstrated
  experience with Citrix XenDesktop and Windows in a virtualised
  environment.
• Experience
  in Microsoft Windows Server and their associated roles and services
  running in a large Corporate environment that includes SAN.
• Be
  self-motivated with a depth of specialisation in supporting a set of
  product systems to help maintain the availability of the IT service
  experienced by end users.
• Ability
  to work within a team with little supervision as an established
  systems/product specialist, to support end users. (e.g. detailed knowledge
  of the configuration of interlinked systems, implementing technical
  changes, building software regimes and contributing technically to service
  development)
• Ability
  to work cohesively within a team with an interest in mentoring to develop junior
  team members.
• Solid
  understanding of business continuity process.
• Broader
  understanding of service levels and industry products and services.
