Education Development Center Data Collectors Jobs Vacancies in Kigali, Rwanda


Education
Development Center, Inc (EDC) is recruiting 6 Data Collectors (Rwandan
Nationals) for its ECD program. “The Early Childhood Care-giver Professional
Development and Certification Program is supported by Innovation for Education
(IfE) ; a partnership between the Governments of Rwanda and the UK” and
implemented by Education Development Center, Inc.

The Program will
train Rwandan school dropout girls and young women who have completed 9 years
of Basic Education to become certified ECD caregivers in disadvantaged
communities and thereby give opportunities for young children to acquire the
pre-school learning skills they need to thrive in school. 

The project is
targeting 200 caregivers over a period of 22 months. The data collectors will
work under the M&E Specialist to conduct a baseline assessment throughout
10 ECD centers located in the districts of Gasabo, Kamonyi, Musanze and Burera.
The assessment will last for a maximum period of 10 days. 

Qualifications
And Requirements

·        
Bachelor’s
Degree (or post high school education) in psychology, education or related
field.
Minimum
of one year experience teaching primary school or working as caregiver in ECD
centers.
Strong
communication skills.
Experience
in data collection and conducting surveys.? Relevant experience in facilitation
skills and ability to use quick participatory research tools
