  applicant should hold a Master’s degree by coursework & research in
  Economics, Agricultural Economics or Statistics from a recognised
  University. Recent graduates of doctoral degrees in shall be added
  advantage
• At least
  six years working experience in relevant public or private sector
  institutions three of which should be in policy-oriented work
• Proven
  ability to use STATA, EViews, GAMS or GAUSS for data analysis
• Abreast
  with current global and national economic issues
• Comprehensive
  working knowledge of, and ability to apply modern economic theory and
  methods
• Possess
  excellent analytical skills
• Proven
  high level writing skills as primary author in published research papers,
  review etc.
• Past
  experience working with large household survey data sets
• High-level
  interpersonal skills and good communication skills
• Self-motivation
  and capability to work under tight deadlines in a competitive environment
• Evidence
  of publication of own written articles in either local or international
  journals
• Unquestionable
  level of integrity
