Purpose
of the position:

The
Data entry Clerk will support the overall functioning of the Rwanda
Clubfoot Program to eliminate clubfoot as a permanent disability and to fulfill
the mission of CURE International through healing the sick and proclaiming the
Kingdom of God. The position will maintain a focus on   entering
data.
Position
requirements :
  • Rwandan
    by nationality
  • Education:
    University/college degree or its international equivalent in Social
    science, Project Planning and Management, health informatics or any field
    related to data management from an accredited institution
  • Required
    language: English and fluency in at least one language relevant to the
    region
Experience
required :
  • Demonstrated
    ability to use computer with online applications
  • A
    minimum of 1 year previous experience working in a data entry clerk 
Key
Duties:
  • Entering
    data provided by the program  into ICR data base
  • Ensure
    good filing of patient records and reports
  • Assist
    in data quality audit
  • Assist
    in Maintain a database of clubfoot patients
  • Assist
    in case stories preparing for donors and other stakeholders
  • Assist
    in the management of supply logistics and monitor appropriate usage in
    clinics
  • Assist
    in report preparation, including informal  weekly updates in addition
    to monthly and quarterly reports

  • Demonstrated
    commitment and willingness to work in accordance with the mission and
    statement of faith of CURE International.
  • Understanding
    the importance of maintaining confidentiality; able to maintain
    confidentiality
  • Strong
    computer skills including MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, email and online
    databases
  • Ability
    to read, write, and speak fluent English;
  • Demonstrated
    managerial and interpersonal skills
  • Ability
    to understand and follow instructions
  • Excellent
    organizational and time-management skills, able to prioritize work to meet
    deadlines
  • Able
    to maintain a high level of attention to detail throughout the day
  • Demonstrated
    initiative and ability to work semi-independently and solve problems
