You will be a mid-level commercial estimator who will join the team supporting
the Chief Estimator, Directors, GM, Business Development Manager, Senior
Estimators, Construction Manager and Project Managers as an effective team
member in the management of designated tenders from estimating, conversion,
delivery to hand over finalisation and review.

Job Responsibilities:
• Prepare, Review and Plan the Tender Bid for all new tenders and/or quotations
required by the closing due date set by the Chief Estimator, Directors, General
Manager and Business Development Manager.

• Delegate the set-up of tender files, trade package listings, schedules for
all drawing registers, plans to be printed, preparation of sub-contract and
supplier packages, organize site inspections with tendering sub-contractors,
update sub-contractor and supplier registers.

• Prepare initial preliminaries estimate as per the companies systems and
procedures.
• Review and check all tender documentation and package accordingly to correct
suppliers and sub-contractors.

• Delegate, Review and Prepare where required Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and
issue to relevant trades as a guide only. This will involve the use of
Buildsoft and / or Excel computer software.

• Review, check and negotiate sub contract tenders with the Directors, General
Manager, Chief Estimator and/or estimating team and set the tender budget.

• Prepare sub contract tender comparison sheets and review with Directors,
Project Managers and Construction Manager as required.

• Prepare and maintain a list of tender qualifications and clarifications
during the tender period for final tender submission.

• Prepare the final tender submission for review by the Chief Estimator,
Directors, Business Development.
