* Responsible for the efficient management and administration of all client contracts and subcontracts
* Advise on contracting and risk management strategies
* Provide commercial and contractual input into the bidding process including advising on credit risk, country risk, liability and costs
* Identify situations of potential risk during contract
* Advise on high level procurement of goods and services
* Liaise with Lawyers and manage the in-house legal services provided, in conjunction with the Contracts Manager
The below criteria is essential for this role:
Qualifications: Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Law, Quantity Surveying or Business Management
Experience: Direct contracts experience working within an oil and gas organisation. Experience of reviewing contracts, subcontracts and terms and conditions.
Personal Qualities: Excellent communications skills and all levels, good negotiation skills and understanding of commercial/contractual risk management. Willing and able to travel if required.
