Our client in the Borders is currently looking for a customer-focused Communications Officer for an initial 4 month contract.
Your task will be to deliver a wide range of high quality customer-focused specialist new media services. You will be responsible for driving and ensuring individual departments deliver their content for a new website, which is currently being built. You will work closely with each department to ensure their content is fit for the web and will need to have a good understanding of web best practices and compliance.

Responsibilities:
• Co-ordinating and managing web content
• Provide strategic advice on a new web development project
• Provide new media advice and solutions that support business needs
• Deliver a high level of customer-focused communications services
• Editing and publishing all web content to a high standard
It is essential that you are a self motivated person who is happy to tackle anything that is thrown at you. It is also ideal that you are qualified to Degree level (or equivalent) and have demonstrable experience in a similar role.
