Job Summary: The Joint
Venture Manager will actively coordinate and oversee all joint venture (JV) aspects
of the company’s operated and non-operated assets and serve as JV interface for
required meetings arrangement.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate locally all reporting and contacts
with JV partners and government authorities for technical and budget
approvals for seismic acquisition, wells, EIA, license extensions and etc. - Offer, liaise with government authorities and
other operators as required to secure appropriate fiscal terms for the
company’s associated and non-associated gas. - Serve as focal/contact point for all operated JV
matters. Ensure that all reporting to JV partners on the company’s
operated JV assets is done properly and timely, including financial
reporting, payments, project and audit close outs. - Work closely with government authorities or JV
partners on a daily basis to ensure that all statutory and contractual
requirements are met and ensure that all contractual and regulatory
obligations are fulfilled on time. - Actively interface with JV partners or government
authorities. Ensure that the appropriate information is conveyed from /to
the different stakeholders. - Ensure packs for the various meetings (TCM, FTM,
OCM, ACM etc) are prepared and reviewed before the meeting. Also ensure
timely submission of the meeting packs. - Organize and coordinate the above mentioned
meetings i.e. the date, the venue of the meeting, the members/various
committees that should attend. - Prepare invoices, reports, PPT memos, financial
statements and other documents for executive management. - Intuitively review and summarize miscellaneous
reports and documents; prepare background documents and outgoing mail as
necessary for executive management. - Read and analyze incoming memos, submissions, and
reports to determine their significance and plan their distribution for
executive management. - Perform any other duties assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate should possess a good
Bachelor’s degree or above in Petroleum Engineering, project management,
Public Relations, Finance, or the related. - A minimum of ten or more years diversified
experiences in Oil & Gas operations, Project Management, Asset
Management or Petroleum economic evaluation - Extensive knowledge of Oil and Gas operations and
asset management - Familiar with Uganda PSA/JOA
