There is an alarming trend of children shopping online without permission from their parents. In most cases, the parent are not even aware of their children online activities. Majority of these children use their parents’ credit or debit cards.
Many of this children know the websites that their parents use for their online shopping and logged on to these site for their own shopping in order to get easy access to their parent credit cards information. While some other ones use other sites. These group know their parents’ credit cards information so may not really need the website to give them the information.
Many of the parents are finding this very unbelievable since they think that their children will not be involved in online shopping without their permission. In fact they do not know what their kids know and how they think.
This behavior exposes the parents to fraud since their children may fall into the hands of fraudsters. So it is advisable for parents to keep their credit cards or debit cards details from their children and change their password if they sensed any foul play. They should ensure that they log out after purchasing online and also use only reputable websites for their online shopping.
This is important and urgent to avoid running into unnecessary debt or getting yourself into the hands of fraudster due to your children’s unhealthy online behaviours.
