Service is seeking a Program manager for a USAID-funded program to improve
the safety, wellbeing and development of highly vulnerable children in
Rwanda, particularly those who are living without adequate family care. CRS

The Program
manager will oversee and guide all program activities implemented by CRS and
partner organizations. S/he will serve as the primary point of contact to the
donors, partners’ organizations, Government of Rwanda at national and local
levels, and other external parties. S/he must effectively manage
relationships with CRS and partner staff to establish and oversee all program
activities.
This position is
considered as a part of the senior staff team and offers competitive working
conditions. The successful candidate will at minimum have the following
Qualifications and Skills :
• Minimum Masters
Degree in Social Work, Education, Development Studies, or related field
required.
• Minimum 10 years
experience with highly vulnerable children, social protection, and project
management
• Minimum 3 years
managing significant USG-funded programs required. Knowledge of key USG
regulations.
• Proven
leadership and inter-personal skills and ability to build and motivate
diverse and talented teams.
• Proven
experience in building and maintaining institutional linkages required.
• Proven ability
to think strategically.
• Cultural
sensitivity, patience and flexibility.
• Demonstrated
personal accountability and driven to serve others.
• Ability to
travel nationally and internationally as required.
• Excellent
English language oral and written communication skills required.
• Professional
fluency in French highly desirable. Kinyarwanda helpful.
• Proficiency in
Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel and Outlook required.
