This small company designs, builds and maintains gardens using organic methods
and hand tools. We create low maintenance, native plants focused and
environmentally sustainable landscapes for residential customers. The company
is based in central, west Toronto.
Skilled gardeners are required to work wit
h the owner and other team leaders on
a paid hourly full time basis beginning in early April until mid November.
Extensive training will be provided for successful candidates; this is not just
summer employment. A strong, ongoing commitment to the field of horticulture is
expected.
The successful applicant will have:
• Proven ability to work on a team in a strenuous manual labour job
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience caring for plants
• Strong plant knowledge
• Ability to work at a physically demanding job outdoors
• An avid interest in learning about plants, the natural environment and this
business
• Creative skills and training
• A drivers license and clean driving record
