For twenty
years, buildOn has brought education to over 73,000 children, parents and
grandparents in these developing countries. Right now buildOn is breaking
ground on a new school every five days and has built 705 schools, 115 of those
in Malawi alone.

Currently buildOn is working in
Neno, Balaka, Mwanza and Kasungu districts and over the next few years, will be

Coordinator position looking to fill it immediately.
The Field Coordinator is
responsible for all technical aspects of building the school and training the
villagers in basic construction techniques. The Field Coordinator lives in the
village during the construction to help mobilize and organize the villagers.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Have
City & Guilds Diploma plus Grade-1 Brick-Laying Certificate and
Advanced Malawi Craft Certificate - Conversant
with verbal and written English. - Experience
and knowledge of construction and supervision of skilled and volunteer
labor. - Ability
to organize and motivate members of the community - Basic
understanding of Microsoft Excel and word - Ability
to prepare monthly reports detailing our Key Performance Indicators and
work plans and have valid motorcycle and or motor vehicle driving
license. - Willingness
to work and live in the village with people of all ethnic groups in rustic
conditions.
